Why is Safe Laser more effective than polarized light lamps?

Why is laser therapy more effective in healing than polarized light therapy?

(e.g. Bioptron, Activelight, Vivalight…)

“With soft laser devices, a wider range of diseases can be treated more effectively than with polarized light lamps.”

— Dr. Károly Rózsa, co-owner of the polarized light lamp patent, Doctor of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences

Laser light has significantly more beneficial physiological effects than polarized light because laser light is not only polarized (vibrating in a single plane), like that of polarized lamps, but also monochromatic (single wavelength) and coherent (waves in phase and order). These three properties are necessary for the light to penetrate beyond the skin surface and act deep within tissues.

Monochromatic lasers emit 100% of their power at biologically optimal wavelengths (e.g. 660–665 nm), which can be up to 1000x more concentrated than polarized lamps — leading to faster healing.

The coherent nature of laser light means its waves remain in phase as they pass through tissue, enabling modulation patterns that trigger key cellular processes. Coherence is essential to reaching and treating deeper structures, such as in musculoskeletal disorders.[64]*

Studies show that laser-treated wounds healed 20% faster than those treated with polarized light. Even ulcers that didn’t respond to traditional polarized light therapy closed successfully after laser treatment. [1, 21, 63]*

Safe Laser devices offer more versatility due to a range of optional accessories, enabling them to treat a wider array of conditions than polarized light therapy devices.
